LATEST NEWS   UPDATED: 14th July 2010.

Koh Phangan is still not such a busy island, but as ever, we continue to enjoy our diving! The weather is generally hot & calm with the occasional thunderstorm (Koh Phangan always needs water!), Sail Rock has good conditions & we had a great trip to the Marine Park yesterday.

Congratulations to Francisco on completion of your Divemaster course (in a remarkably efficient style) and more especially to Chris for becoming a (very good) Open Water diver at the same time. And another Chaloklum Diving regular, (big) Marc should be keeping us busy as he starts a high power DM course at the end of the month.
Gabriele is working on the photos he took when the mighty Lorenzo & team came diving with us earlier in the month; thanks once again to Lawrence & the girls for helping us find yet more nudibranch that we didn't know were here!

Our Marine Life Field Guide has reached 2,700 photos. As well as trying to cover more of the fascinating small marine life here, we're also expanding the homo sapiens category. The "diving pro's" section was updated last week; if we've missed someone you think should be there (or find any other errors) please let us know.

Finally; sorry to get serious for a moment, but you probably know that things are not looking good for the future of the shark species. If you feel as we do, please click here to sign a petition organised by Project Aware.

The Best of Wishes to all from Chaloklum Diving.
