Accommodation - Chaloklum Diving School

Chaloklum Diving have always worked closely with a number of the better bungalows & resorts on Koh Phangan. If you intend diving or snorkelling with us, we are happy to arrange accommodation for you.

Chaloklum main street

Chaloklum Village resorts are located around the (small) town & along the beach, but no more than a 5-10 min. walk away from internet facilities, a choice of good restaurants, a few bars, shops, etc etc. They are also more convenient for our boat dive trips, which leave from Chaloklum pier. Resorts include:-

Haad Khom is in the far East corner of Chaloklum Bay, rather further out from Chaloklum village & the road can still be quite challenging. It has a scenic beach of its own & a small coral reef. Mains electricity is not yet available.

Mae Haad Bay/Koh Ma remains our favourite location; it's situated on the North West corner of the island & particularly convenient for more beach based diving & training. It's still a quiet corner of Koh Phangan with some great snorkelling. (Mains elecricity is now available!) Our favourites are:-

Haad Salad Beach is the next bay down (the West coast) from Mae Haad. A small bay with a nice beach enclosed by coral reef. Now the location of some luxury standard resorts.

Haat Yao Beach is situated below Haat Salat, half way down the West coast. It has a relatively large beach & is a generally more lively location with a wide variety of resorts & a number of bars & restaurants.

Songkran Water Festival in Thongsala; let's get wet

Thongsala is the main town of Koh Phangan; handy for the ferry, with a wide range of shops & many other entertainments.
